Delete a service

Delete removes the service row from your menu. Prefer Inactive when you might need the service again or when bookings may still reference it.

Step by step

Decide Inactive vs Delete
If the service might return, or you only want to stop new bookings, use Active / Inactive instead.
Choose Delete
On Services, open row actions (or the detail view) and choose Delete.
Confirm the prompt
TeqBook shows a browser confirmation. Today the prompt text is: “Er du sikker pa at du vil slette denne tjenesten?” Choose OK only if you are sure.
If delete fails
If any booking still references the service, the database blocks delete (bookings keep their history). Fix or wait out those bookings, or keep the service Inactive instead. There is no undo after a successful delete.
